About The Offer Made, Follow Up Checklist
Proper execution of the Offer Made Checklist where we follow up with sellers that we have made offers to is some of the most productive and profitable work we can do.
Proper follow up will usually increase our ability to close deals by at least a factor of two. That means that with proper follow up with sellers that you have made an offer to, but have not yet accepted it will result in you, at least, doubling your closing rate.
You can look at this in one of two ways:
- You can do half as much marketing to get the same results you were getting before. Not recommended.
- You can do twice as much business for the same marketing dollars and just a little extra work.
We advocate constant improvement of each area of a real estate investing, but early focus on simple follow up with sellers we have already made offers to can make a huge difference.
Seller Follow Up Date Guidelines For Sellings
Frequency of follow up for sellers we have made offers to should be every 3 weeks.
That means you should talk to someone live every three weeks. If you are unable to connect live, use the guidelines in the Offer Made Checklist for frequency of leaving messages.
