Let’s take a look at the number of clients that you will need to reach an income goal as a handyman business owner.

If your average client pays $900, some could be a lot lower than that, some could be higher than that, but if that’s your average and you still have a $40,000 income goal divided by $900 per client means that in the course of a year you need to have 44.44 paying clients in order to hit your goal.

I’m going to call that 45. Realize too, if you want to net $40,000, you want to add your expenses to that. So if your expenses in order to earn $40,000 are $15,000, you’re going to want to say $55,000 divided by $900 per client and that’s going to give you what number of clients you need in order to hit your goal.

Using the marketing strategies that we teach in “The World’s Greatest Handyman Marketing Course”, you can figure out exactly how to get 45 clients in the next year to earn that goal. Or, crank up the marketing machine and earn more than that by increasing the number of clients you work with.

Until my next post,

James
