How Much is a Trillion Dollars?
I am becoming very interested in inflation because I personally believe it is going to be a huge issue for most people in the next decade and probably longer. I am taking action right now to put myself in a position where I can, at a minimum, significantly limit the downside I personally will see from it and in all probability actually benefit from it.
What of the things that often comes up when you are dealing with inflation is the concept of a trillion dollars. The video below gives one good example of how to think about it. Remember… as of earlier this month the US is currently in debt $11.4 trillion dollars and we are already scheduled to increase that by another $1.8 trillion next year.
Wasn’t that very interesting? Now you know just how to visualize a trillion dollars… try wrapping your mind around $13 trillion… which is what our national debt will be.
