Pre Paid Legal Services For Real Estate Investors

You probably already know the importance of having great legal advice for your real estate investing dream team. By I’d like to relate a recent story of why having access to your own attorney is extremely helpful for your real estate investing business.

If you’ve been following my recent additions to the Real Estate Investor Wiki, you would notice that I have been writing recently quite a bit about Raising Private Money and specifically about using a Private Money Presentation.

I have a particular property that I am considering buying that would be ideal for using private money with. However, I have concerns about emailing my contacts about the deal and asking if anyone knows of someone that can do private money on the deal since the contacts are across state lines and the property is outside of my state.

So, my assistant has called our pre-paid legal service and they are researching it for us. I should know exactly what I can and can’t do in the a few days and it only cost the monthly fee that I paid to do it. I have called them before about tenant issues as well as a handful of other issues too.

If you have a great attorney already, perfect. But if you are going to have on-going questions, signing up for a service like that might be a good idea.
