Real Estate Investing Means Different Things To Different People

When you hear the words Real Estate Investing what comes to mind for you? Do you think of buying houses and renting them out? Do you think of “Ugly Houses” that you can buy for pennies on the dollar, fix up and resell? Do you think of buying single family homes or apartment buildings? Do you see yourself doing it alone or as a partnership with others or maybe as a small company?

There is so much variation in what people think of when we mention the words Real Estate Investing that I had to had to expand my original view of what I intended to do with the Real Estate Investor Wiki. Originally, I intended to document just the actual systems that I use in my personal business so that I could use them and share them with a close group of people. You know when you get a call from your brother or brother-in-law and they ask you exactly what you do to get a new tenant in a property because they decided to buy a new house and rent out their old one until the market improves. I thought that it would be much better if I could give them my fully fleshed out system that they could just start using immediately.

However, as I worked on it more and more, I noticed just how large the world of Real Estate Investing is and how many small areas it touches. Everything from finding deals, negotiating, financing strategies, using real estate get out of debt using no money down and no new debt strategies, building a dream team, working on the inner game as an investor and much more. Topics I never dreamed of covering are becoming more and more common.

So, as I continue to cover more areas that are related to Real Estate Investing, if you have a particular topic that I have not yet covered that you have an immediate need for, please let me know and I will move it up near the top of the list of the content to put out. If you’ve got a question about it, chances are that others do too.

Until my next post,

James
